WHO WE ARE
Leadership MetroWest is a community leadership development organization
founded in 1986 as a program of the MetroWest Chamber of Commerce and
incorporated as an independent nonprofit 501(c)(3) in 1994. The organization
is led by a Board of Directors and staffed by an Executive Director.
WHAT WE DO
Our flagship program, the yearly Leadership Academy, convenes every
September for 10 monthly program days. Leadership MetroWest convenes an
annual Community Leadership Forum for alumni and other community leaders.
In 2007, Governor Patrick addressed more than 300 people at the Forum.
Leadership MetroWest oversees an active Alumni Association for the 500+
graduates of the Leadership Academy, led by a Committee that plans and
executes the annual Forum every spring and the annual Alumni Networking
Breakfast every fall, among other activities.
